BHOLA: Police recovered five petrol bombs in Bhola municipality area early Wednesday.

District Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ramananda Sarkar told banglanews that acting on tip-off, a police team of conducted raid in Reserved Pukur area at 12:00am.

A gang of miscreants were planning to carry out sabotages there. The gang fled the scene sensing presence of police. Later Police recovered five petrol bombs on the spot, he added.

Meanwhile, blockaders and hartal supporters set alight a truck and vandalized another vegetable-laden truck in the district.
