DHAKA: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called PM Sheikh Hasina over phone to convey his best wishes for Bangladesh team in ICC World Cup-2015.

Sources of the Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The premiers had a phone conversation around 10:30am Friday.

At first, Modi’s personal assistant-2 made the call to an additional secretary of Hasina. Later, both premiers talked to each other.

The Indian premier also twitted saying, “Spoke to President @ashrafghani, PM Sheikh Hasina, PM Nawaz Sharif & President Sirisena. Conveyed my best wishes for the Cricket World Cup.”
