LAXMIPUR: Miscreants torched four vehicles in different places of the district on Saturday evening.

Police sources said that miscreants set fire to a covered van in Gora area of Maheshpur in the district on 6:30pm.

The front side of the van was gutted before locals doused the blaze.

On the other hand, two CNG-run auto-rickshaws were torched by miscreants in Maheshpur and Duttapara areas of the district around 6:30pm and 7:15pm respectively.

Besides, anarchists torched a tempo vehicle near to Duttapara police outpost around 7:15pm.

Chandraganj Thana Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ratan Mia confirmed the matter to banglanews.
