CHITTAGONG: A city dweller was injured in Didar Market area of Kotwali Thana following a cocktail attack on a bus Monday noon.

The injured, Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, 56, was rushed to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH).

Sources said the incident took place around 1:00pm.

The miscreants attacked a Kalurghat-bound bus at that time and left the scene soon after hurling the cocktail, said a spot account of the incident.

Confirming the admission of the injured, CMCH police camp Nayek M Hamid said that Nasir sustained injuries in his head during the blast.
