DHAKA: A youth was killed and another one injured in a blast while making bomb in city’s Hazaribagh area on Thursday.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police sources said that the explosion took place around 4:30pm while two youths were making bomb at first floor of a house in the area, leaving them injured critically.

However, on information, police rushed to the spot and sent them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor Umme Salma declared one dead around 6:30pm.

Hazaribagh Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) confirmed the matter to banglanews.
