DINAJPUR: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained two people with 12 petrol bombs from a shop in Munshir Para area of the district on Friday.
The detainees are Debendranath Roy and Harunur Rashid.
RAB-13 Dinajpur Crime Prevention-1 Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Badruzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
He said, acting on tip-off, the RAB officials conducted a drive in the area around 2:45pm and recovered 12 petrol bombs from the shop.
Later, the elite force also apprehended the duo from the spot.
The arrestees might be gathered the huge bombs in the area to create sabotage, said the ASP.
