DHAKA: The government has decided to appoint M Jashim Uddin, currently serving as Director General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Greece.

Foreign ministry issued a press release in this regard on Thursday.

A career diplomat, M Jashim Uddin served in Bangladesh Missions in New Delhi, Tokyo, Washington DC and Islamabad in different capacities.

He has obtained his MSS in International Relations from the University of Dhaka.

He also obtained an MA in Modern International Studies from UK. Lately he completed the NDC course successfully from National Defense College, Dhaka.
