COMILLA: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered four kilograms heroin worth Tk 4 crore from Boiara Bazar in Comilla.

A group of BGB-10 Battalion, led by deputy commander Major Mohammad Ataullah Jami, on Tuesday night recovered the narcotics left abandoned in roadside.

BGB-10 Battalion commander Lt. Col. Mokhlesur Rahman told banglanews that the smugglers might hide the amount of heroin in the place for smuggling.

But BGB patrol team members managed to recover the narcotics, he added.
