ASHULIA, DHAKA: At least two people were killed and 15 others sustained injuries as a passenger bus turned turtle at Baraipara of Ashulia, on outskirts of the capital, Tuesday night.

Identity of the deceased could not be known and the injured were admitted to different local hospitals. 

Police told banglanews that a bus of Kaliakoir Paribahan overturned after being collided with another passenger bus in the area around at 8:45pm, leaving two people dead on the spot and 15 others injured.

Later, locals and a unit from DEPZ fire service rescued the injured and whisked off them to hospitals.
