LAKSHMIPUR: A human hauler, carrying a patrolling police team, overturned on Raipur-Dhaka highway in BISCIC area under Sadar upazila of the district early Saturday, leaving three male and a female lawpersons injured.

The injured were admitted to the district’s sadar hospital.

Among the injured, one was identified as Sub-Inspector (SI) Bihari Kusum.

Moreover, a policeman Imam Hossain is in critical condition.

Police sources said the team was on patrol duty at night riding the vehicle. On arrival in the area, the vehicle turned turtle as its driver lost control over steering.

District Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) M Nasim confirmed the matter to banglanews.
