Qatar: The Qatar police detained two Bangladeshi expatriates for allegedly killing their Bangladeshi friend over money dispute on March 10.

The deceased was identified as Sohel Hossain, 30, son of Abdul Hakim of Shashia village under Barura upazila of Comilla district while the detainees were Emdad Hossain and Liton of Dohar of Dhaka.

Qatar police sources said that the suspects brought Sohel to remote Al Khor area in the morning on March 10 and killed him inside a house there.

The man was killed over a money transaction of Tk 3 lakhs. Later police nabbed them, sources added.

However, the body has been kept at Samad Hospital morgue of the country.
