DHAKA: A worker, who sustained injuries in an under-construction building collapse at Sena Kalyan Sangstha’s Elephant Brand Cement factory of Mongla in Bagerhat, died at a hospital in Jessore Monday night

The deceased was identified as Shah Ali alias Shihab, 25, son of Moksed Ali of Goutanbha village under Ranpal upazila of Bagerhat district.

Shihab breathed her last at Jessore Combined Military Hospital on Monday night two days after he had been admitted there.

The body has been kept at the Jessore 250-bed General Hospital morgue.

On-duty Sub-Inspector Rulhul Amin of the morgue confirmed the matter to banglanews.

With the latest one, the death toll in the collapse rose to eight.
