JESSORE: Railway communication of Khulna with Dhaka has been restored around 9:00pm as two compartments of a goods-laden train derailed in Shingla area on Jessore-Khulna route on Tuesday.

Jessore Rail Station Master Saiduzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier, the two bogies of Khulna-bound freight train coming from Parbatipur were derailed in the area around 4:30pm.

The accident also halted Sagordari Express coming from Khulna at Nawapara Railway Station and also delayed all scheduled train, he added.
