DHAKA: Elections in Chittagong, Dhaka North and South City Corporations will be held on April 28.

Election Commission made the disclosure while declaring schedule of the elections.

The last day for candidacy submission has been fixed March 29 and scrutiny on April 1 and 2, and last date for canceling candidature fixed April 9.

Earlier, a meeting held at EC secretariat with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakib Uddin in the chair.

Allude to last election held in Dhaka in 2002 and in Chittagong in 2010.
