DHAKA: A worker died after falling off an under-construction building in city’s Dhanmondi area on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Azizul, 22.

Victim’s fellow worker M Khokon told banglanews that Azizul fell off the building’s 2nd floor around 9:00am while he was working.

Locals rushed Azizul to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in critical condition where the attending doctors declared him dead around 10:00am.

DMCH police outpost assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Sentu Chandra Das confirmed the matter to banglanews.
