GAIBANDHA: Two people were killed and six others injured in a road accident on Gaibandha-Palasbari road at Goalpara Raintreetala area under Palasbari upazila of the district Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased could not be known immediately.

Quoting witnesses, officer-in-charge of Palasbari Thana Firoz Kabir told banglanews that a truck and a passenger-filled human hauler collided head on in the area around 2:15pm, leaving two passengers dead on the spot and six others injured.

The injured were admitted to Gaibandha Sadar Model Hospital, he added.
