SIRAJGANJ: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit Shahjadpur on Friday to unveil the foundation plaque of Rabindra University and to inaugurate several other developmental works here.

The premier will also visit the Rabindra Kachhari Bari at Shahjadpur and inaugurate the cultural program to commemorate the 154th birthday of the great Bengali Poet.

Sirajganj deputy commissioner Billal Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He further said alongside unveiling the foundation plaque of Rabindra University, the PM will inaugurate a newly built passport office, marine academy, 150MW power plant and Sheikh Rusel Children Park.

Lawmaker from the area Habibur Rahman Swapan thanked the premier for implementing what she pledged.
