HABIGANJ: Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Madhabpur upazila of Habiganj district as a pickup van hit them on Saturday evening.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Local sources said that the a pickup van knocked down the two, who were in a motorcycle, near Highway Inn on Dhaka-Sylhet highway leaving them dead on the spot.

The locals immediately seized the vehicle and held its driver.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Shaistaganj Highway Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Ejajur Rahman said that police forces have sent to the spot.
