THAKURGAON: A man and his wife were killed in incident of lightning in Bhandara Guchha gram of Ranisankail Upazila of the district early Friday.

The deceased were identified as Hanif, 55, and his wife Chan Banu 45, resided in the Guchha Gram.

 Sukumer Mohanta, Officer In-Charge of Ranisankail Police Station, said lightning struck the couple around 4:30am when they were picking up straws from yard to balcony as rain started.
