DHAKA: Police recovered bodies of two women from different areas of Savar and Ashulia, outskirt of capital city, on Saturday morning.

Police sources said that locals found dead body of an unidentified woman aged approximately 20 in Zadurchar area of Hemayetpur in the morning and informed lawpersons.

Later, police from Savar Thana recovered the body.

The sources added that police also recovered body of a female garment worker from a house, owned by Sanaullah Mian, in Gorat area of Ashulia in the morning.

However, her husband went hiding since the incident.

Reasons behind both deaths could not be known immediately. The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police filed two cases with Savar and Ashulia separately, according to the sources.
