Fire at city tire factory

DHAKA: A fire broke out at a tire factory in Jatrabari’s Bibir Bagicha area of the city early Thursday.

Senior Station Officer Mostafa Mahsin of Postogola Fire Service confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the fire might be originated from electric shot circuit in the factory around 3:00am.

Being informed, two units of fire service team rushed to the spot and doused the fire after half an hour’s frantic efforts.
