DHAKA: Senior Jail Super of Dhaka Central Jail Forman Ali met Syed Iftekhar Uddin, Inspector General (IG) of Prisons, after the verdict of death sentence against war criminal Kamaruzzaman reached at Dhaka Central Jail.

They talked about for half an hour and Forman Ali re-entered into the jail premises after the meeting.

Earlier, a 5-member tribunal team took the verdict to jail authority for proceeding for execution.

Chief Justice (CJ) SK Sinha and three other judges signed the copy of the Appellate Division's verdict on the review petition filed by Jamaat leader Muhammad Kamaruzzaman.
