DHAKA: Five cocktails were blasted from a procession of Jamaat-e-Islami in support of dawn-to-dusk hartal in Coca-cola area under Vatara Thana in the city on Monday morning.

Sources said a procession with a banner of Chhatra Shibir was brought out in the area around 7:00am. After the procession, the processionists blasted five cocktails and fled the spot.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Mizan of Vatara Thana told banglanews that he is yet to inform about the incident.

“I am looking into the matter,” he added.
