RAMPURA: Lawmaker of Dhaka-17 constituency AKM Rahmatullah remarked that Maniruzzaman Chowdhury Moni, owner of the collapsed house in Rampura, will not be spared.

He came up with this assertion while talking to reporters after visiting the accident spot in Bowbazar of Rampura on Thursday.

At least 12 persons were killed as a 2-storey tin-shed house collapsed in the area on Wednesday.

While answering a query that ‘whether Moni will escape using his Juba League identity’, Rahmatullah said the main accused of Rana Plaza tragedy, Rana, could not escape the scene. Like this, Moni will also not be spared.

The MP also assured that the grabbed land by Moni will be released and a playground will be made there.

He also assured to give private cooperation from the victims.
