NARAYANGANJ: A decoit was lynched by agitated mob in Brahmandi area under Araihazar upazila of the district early Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Rubel Miah, 35, son of Daud Miah of the area.

Locals, sensing the presence of the gang, who were taking preparation to rob the house in the area, chased them and caught Rubel.

The agitated mob beat him to death. However, other robbers managed to flee the spot.
