DHAKA: A 6.7- magnitude earthquake jolted Dhaka and elsewhere of the country at 1:12pm on Sunday.

There was no immediate report of casualties or damage.

The epicenter was at Kodari, 81 kilometers east of Kathmandu, capital of Nepal.

Earlier, a massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck Lamjung, 81 kilometers north-west of Nepal capital city Kathmandu, followed by more aftershocks at different parts of the country, leaving over 2,000 people dead and some 5,000 injured.
