MAGURA: Three people were killed in a road accident on Magura-Jessore Highway in Bhabonhati area of the district Thursday night.

The deceased were identified as Jamal, 50, Makim, 60, and Shahadat, 52.

Four other people also injured in the accident that happened around 11:00pm.

Magura Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Sudarshan Kuman Roy confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said a speedy covered van hit the people who came in the area from Jessore to rescue a vehicle of Sundarban Courier Service which fell beside the road.

The accident left three people dead on the spot and other four injured.

They were rushed to the Magura Sadar Hospital.
