DHAKA:  A man, who sustained severe burns in a gas cylinder blast in city’s Mirpur area, at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Friday.

The deceased was identified as M Nazmul Hossain, 30, a mechanic of an air conditioner repairing shop of Mirpur.
 
Nazmul was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night with 80 percent burns and died in the morning.

Other injured- M Palash, 20, is undergoing treatment at burn unit of the hospital with 25 percent burns, said doctors.
   
At least two people received burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion at Pantha Engineering, an air conditioner repairing shop, of Kazipara in the city around 9:30pm Thursday.
