Gibson condemns blogger Ananta murder

DHAKA: The British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert W Gibson condemned the murder of blogger Ananta Bijoy Das.

He also asked for space for free speech in Bangladesh.

Following the murder of blogger Ananta Bijoy Das, the high commissioner tweeted, “Shocked by and condemn the brutal murder of #AnantaBijoyDas There must be space for free speech in #Bangladesh” (sic).
