DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel detained four Nigerian nationals in city for their alleged illegal entrance to the country.

The foreign nationals were held from city’s Uttara and Gulshan areas on Tuesday noon.

RAB headquarters assistant director Major Maqsudul Alam confirmed banglanews about the matter.

According to the RAB official, the arrested gang members entered Bangladesh illegally. Moreover, they cheated several local people, he added.

Major Alam said that on tips-off they conducted drives to nab the cheats.
