RANGAMATI: At least five people died of diarrhoea in Sajek area under Baghaichhari upazila of the district from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning.

More 25 people have been affected by the disease. Some of them are in critical condition.

Headman of Shialdah Mouja Juipku Thang Tripura confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He also said most of the people are to take fountain water for drinking. They suspected that the people might be affected by this fountain water.
