DHAKA: After 35 minutes frantic efforts, the fire fighters team doused the fire at a building near BNP central office in city’s Naya Paltan area.

Fire service control room telephone operator Irin Parvin said the fire originated on the third floor of the building around 5:30pm.

Being informed, 10 units of fire service rushed to the spot and doused the fire around 6:05pm, she added.
