DHAKA: Miscreants chopped to death a police source in city’s Madhya Badda area Saturday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Dulal Hossain, 32, son of one Delwar Hossain, hailed from Chandpur sadar and a resident at Comilla Para in Madhya Badda.

Confirming the matter, Badda Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Abdul Jalil told banglanews that unidentified miscreants killed him in front of his Comilla Para residence.

Deceased’s father Delwar Hossain told banglanews that several youth attacked Dulal around 3:15pm and chopped him indiscriminately, leaving injured critically.

He was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to his injuries.

The body was kept at DMCH morgue, he added.
