DHAKA: At least thirteen people were killed and 41 others injured in separate road accidents in Rangpur, Satkhira, Sirajganj and Natore districts Sunday.

In Rangpur, four people were killed and 10 injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a tempo in Hajirhat area on Rangour-Dinajpur highway in Rangpur district in the evening.
Rangpur district police super (SP) Mohammad Abdur Razzak confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Earlier in the morning, two persons were killed as a truck hit a microbus on Dhaka-Rangpur highway near the bus stand in Pirganj upazila of the district.
Upazila’s Boro Dorgah Highway officer-in-charge (OC) Nazmul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
In Satkhira, three persons were killed and 20 others injured as a passenger bus plunged into a roadside ditch on Khulna-Satkhira highway in Subhasini area under Tala upazila around 11:30am as its driver lost control over steering.
Tala Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Rezaul Karim confirmed the matter to banglanews.
In Sirajganj, three persons were killed and another injured as a running truck hit another truck, standing roadside, on the western side road of Bangabandhu Bridge connecting road in Konabari area under Kamarkhand upazila around 4:15am.
Bangabandhu Bridge (West) Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Helal Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Moreover, bus helper Shahid was killed as a BRTC bus plunged into a ditch in Nawpara area on Natore-Bogra highway in Natore district on Sunday afternoon.
At least 10 passengers were injured in the accident.
Natore Fire Service station officer Abdur Rouf confirmed the matter to banglanews.
