DHAKA: Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Annisul Huq said necessary measures would be taken after consolation with Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) over the collapse of under construction building at Kathalbagan.

He came up with observation while visiting the spot where part of an under-construction building, adjacent to Sonargaon Hotel, collapsed on Wednesday.

He said, “This place seems dangerous. The road could collapse at any moment. So, everyone was advised to maintain safe distance from the incident spot.”
   
Meanwhile, a large number of police and RAB personnel have been deployed to stop entry of curious crowd to collapsed building.

Following the building collapse incident, CR Dutta Road in front of Sundarban Hotel has been closed.
