2 bodies recovered in Ashulia

ASHULIA (DHAKA): Police recovered two unidentified bodies from Kurgaon area of Ashulia in Savar on Wednesday.

Police said locals spotted an unidentified body in a sack from a tin-shed house of local trader in the area in the morning.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

The law enforcers detained four people including home owner Razzak. After interrogation, they informed about another body in the same spot.

Police, later, recovered another body, also covered with sack, from the septic tank of the house.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ashulia Thana Mostafa Kamal said the bodies were sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.

The process to file a case in this connection is underway.
