NARAIL: A road accident in Narail district killed father and daughter and injured nine on Wednesday noon.

Witnesses said a truck rammed into an easy-bike in Rupganj area of the district town leaving Ukil Sheikh (55) and her daughter Khadiza Begum (25) dead on the spot.

The injured includes Khadiza’s mother and daughter Eva, Parash and Mohsin of Magura district and Babu, Akram Mollah, Sohel, Alamgir and Kuddus of Narail district.

District police super (SP) Rakibul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews. The injured were taken to Narail Sadar Hospital, he added.
