DHAKA: Helper of a passenger bus was killed as a bus hit another bus in city’s Karwan Bazar area Wednesday evening.

Scores are injured in the incident. Among the injured, Parul and her son Ashfak and one Awal Byapari are admitted at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

Awal Byapari, who was going from Shahbagh to Taltala, told banglanews that two of the Gabtoli-bound buses were racing despite the repeated warning of the passengers.

At last it caused the accident, he added.

Tejgaon Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mazharul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
