NARAYANGANJ: Two persons were killed in a rice mill boiler blast in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj district on Wednesday.

They died on their way to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in the evening.

The victims were identified as a boatman Azizul Islam (32) and rice mill accountant Mahbub Hossain (27).

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Sonargaon Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Manjur Qader said that six more people are admitted in critical condition at DMCH.

However, the mill owner Hossain Member has fled the scene.
