CHITTAGONG: An unidentified beggar was beaten to death in a lynch-mob attack in Beribadh area under Bandar thana on Saturday night.

With the latest one, three such incidents of mass beating took place in Bandar area, Bahaddarhat crossing and Razakhali area in the port city within a span of one hour from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, police said.

Police Commissionar Rezaul Masud of Panchalaish Zone told banglanews24.com.bd that local people beat up three poeple suspecting them as kidnappers in all the incidents.

Around 30 occurrences of mob beating took place in the city in the last 15 days.
