BAGERHAT: Two persons, including a college girl, were killed and four others injured in a road accident at Bishwa Road intersection under Fakirhat Upazila of the district Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Obaidul, 25. The name of the college girl could not be known, however.

Bagerhat Highway police Officer-in-Charge M Abdul Mannan Foraji said a passenger bus ran over a motorcycle and van as its driver lost control over steering, leaving six people injured critically.

The injured were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital where doctors declared the college girl dead.  Later, Obidul succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The bus has been seized, the OC added.
