NATORE: Three people were killed as a truck ran them over near a bus stand in Singra upazila of the district Thursday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Singra Thana M Nasir Uddin said the truck overturned and ran over the victim when the trio were repairing the vehicle with the support of ‘Jug’ (a machine which upheld the vehicle) around 10:45am, leaving one dead on the spot and other two people injured.

Locals rushed the injured to the nearest hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
