COX’S BAZAR: Police have arrested three enlisted human traffickers from Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on Thursday.

Among the arrestees, Jamal Hossain (29), son of late Nabi Hossain, was arrested from Shahpari Dweep union of the upazila this morning.

Moreover, Abdullah (35), son of Nurul Islam and Mohammad Alam (28), son of Zahir Ahmed were arrested from Sabrang and Baharchhara unions.

Teknaf Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Ataur Rahman Khondakar said that the trio were accused in several cases.

Legal action will be taken against them, he added.
