SUNAMGANJ: Three siblings drowned at Tahirpur Upazila of the district Monday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Amin, 10, Shamim, 8 and Al Amin, 6, sons of one Azhar Ali, hailed from Laurergarh village of the upazila.

Chairman of Badaghat Union Nijam Uddin told banglanews that three brothers drowned while playing near a pond by their house.

Later, their bodies were recovered around 4:45pm, he added.

Tahirpur Thana officer-in-charge confirmed the matter to banglanews.
