DHAKA: Police detained laboratory assistant of Dhaka University Water and Environment Department and three chemical traders for supplying explosives to militants.

Montasirul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media center confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Quoting DU acting Proctor Professor Amzad Ali, Montasirul Islam said the Lab assistant used to supply explosives making chemicals to militants and he along with three others was detained early Friday.
