FARIDPUR: At least three suspected robbers were killed in a mob beating at Koijuri Union Parishad under the Sadar upazila of the district Wednesday night.

The deceased could not be known immediately.

Quoting local people Sub-Inspector (SI) of Faridpur Kotwali Thana Monir Hossain told banglanews that the people of Badarpur village held three people around 9:30pm while they were allegedly taking preparations for robbery.

Later, they beat the three to death around 11:00pm, he added.

Ward master of Faridpur Medical College and Hospital Arif Islam told banglanews that the bodies were taken to the morgue for autopsy.
