GAIBANDHA: Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rajiur Rahman has been show caused and eight police men suspended on Sunday for their alleged attempt to kill three court officials.

Additional Police Super Faruk Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews in the afternoon.

Meanwhile the cops were not arrested though court issued arrest warrant against them.

On July 2, police men assaulted three court officials at a stage of altercation when they went to Sonali Bank Gaibandha Branch for withdrawing salary. Later they filed a case against cops.
