3 more Bangladeshis killed in KSA road crash

RIYADH: Three more Bangladesh nationals were killed in road accident in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia on their way to home after performing Umrah.

The deceased were identified as Nizam Uddin, 40, hailed from Kanaighat of Sylhet, Masuk Talukder, 45 from Dirai and Moudud Ahmed Raihan Chowdhury of Fenchuganj of Sylhet.

The accident took place as the driver of the car, carrying the trio, lost control over the steering on Makkah Road Friday morning, says Mizanur Rahman, secretary of Bangladesh Embassy to Riyadh.

Earlier in the day, nine people, including three Bangladeshi workers, were killed and 27 others sustained injuries in a road accident in Majma’ah of Saudi Arabia early Friday.
