RAJSHAHI: At least three persons were killed and seven injured in separate road accidents in Rajshahi on Wednesday morning.

The accidents took places at Kharkhari Kukhandi of Motihar Thana and Baneshwar of Putia upazila of the district.

Motihar Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Humayun Kabir confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said a truck hit a van in Kharkhari area leaving one Jaynal dead on the spot and four injured.

On the other hand, a head-on collision between a truck and pickup van left two van passengers dead and three injured at 7:30am in Baneshwar.

Two of deceased have been identified as Nazmul Haque (45), son of Hossain Ali and Mizaanur Rahman (40), son of Nurul Islam of Nachol upazila of Chapainawabganj district.
