ASHULIA (DHAKA): Police recovered two unidentified bodies of youth from Nabinagar-Chandra highway in Jirani area of Ashulia on Wednesday morning.

Moreover, police rescued an unconscious youth and admitted him to Gonosasthya Hospital in Savar.

Police sources said locals saw two bodies lying by the highway at dawn and informed the police. Later, they recovered the bodies.

It was thought they the victims were going home on Eid vacation. The miscreants snatched their valuables and hacked them to death.

One of the victims is alive but his condition is critical, the sources added.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Ashulia Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mustafa Kamal said that they had sent the bodies to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
